Essentials White Core mat board is a quality North American made mat board with a great variety of colors for decorative framing. The bright white Eco-Core is made of recycled paper and is buffered to be pH neutral (Acid-Free). This mat is best used for decorative framing and is not of conservation quality.

Opening Size Instructions

Openings are cut to the size you specify; normally you will want an opening 1/2" smaller per dimension than your artwork. This gives space to hinge and prevents it falling through the mat opening. So, for example, an 8x10 photo would use a 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 opening.

Sizes are listed by width first, and height second. Example 8" (width) by 10" (height).

Please make sure that the opening width and height do not exceed the size dimensions.

o Essentials White Core - Single Mat - I have been buying from this company for nearly 15 years and the quality of the product is always good and the service and delivery as well. I buy these white core mats in 8 X 10, 11 X 14 and 16 X 20. I am a photographer that sells in galleries, festivals and at a local farmers and craft market.
