MatShop Slide-in Mats are made up of three components.

1. An outer mat with an opening that slightly overlaps your photo.  IE:  For an 8 x 10 photo the suggested opening is 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 - allowing a 1/4" overlap on the photo on all sides.

2. An inner sleeve that guides your photo into the mat and in perfect position to be centered in the window of the outer mat.  Inner sleeves are designed to take the size of your printed photo or artwork. 

3.  A backing board - made of the same quality and material as your outer mat.  It provides a strong backing for your photo.

Simply slide your photo into the slot on the side of the mat and you are done!  No glue or tape - just a perfectly matted image ready to display either in landscape or portrait mode.
